BlackVue Cloud lets you view live footage, get impact and parking alerts, and download clips to your phone from anywhere. Models like the DR970X LTE Plus II have a 4G modem built in, so they connect on their own. Other BlackVue models connect to Cloud over your home Wi-Fi, or you can add a CM100 LTE module for live viewing on the go. Cloud itself is free for basic use; you only need mobile data (a SIM) for live remote features.

Do BlackVue dash cams record while I’m parked?

Yes — every BlackVue supports parking mode, which captures impacts and motion while your car is off. Parking mode needs constant power, so you’ll want a hardwiring kit, an OBD-II power cable, or a B-130A Ultra battery pack that runs parking mode without touching your car battery.
