Description

The Elite Series runs a higher-bandwidth 6GHz coaxial connection between front and rear cameras than earlier BlackVue models — it is what carries the 4K and 2K rear video signal without degradation. That means Elite systems need this specific cable: standard BlackVue coax from a DR-series install won’t work.

At 6 metres, this is the length supplied with every 2CH Elite system, and the right choice for almost all sedans, hatches, wagons and mid-size SUVs. If you’re routing through a large SUV, van or ute with a canopy, step up to the 10m version.

When you’d need one

• Replacing a cable damaged during removal, re-installation or vehicle repair work
• Transferring your Elite dash cam into a second vehicle
• A rear camera dropout traced to a pinched or worn cable (a common failure point at door and tailgate rubbers)

Compatibility

Elite 10 (1CH/2CH), Elite 9 (1CH/2CH), Elite 8 (1CH/2CH), Elite+ Gold (1CH/2CH). Not compatible with DR970X, DR900X, DR770X, DR750X, DR590X or older series — those use standard coax or analog cables.
