9. 3 Parking Mode recording options. The FineVu GX7000-2CH Dash Cam gives the user 3 park mode recording options. The most popular is the “pre-buffered park mode” which records 20 second parking mode files when triggered by either motion and/or impact. The motion and impact files are recorded 10 seconds before the trigger and 10 seconds after the trigger capturing more of the important lead up to the event. The motion detection sensitivity & impact sensitivity can also be tailored when in parking mode depending on your particular needs. The second option is called “power saving park mode” whereby the GX7000 will only detect impacts but once an impact is detected, the camera will record 20 seconds after the impact and a further 60 seconds if motion is detected. This mode allows the camera to use much less power. The third option is “time lapse recording” whereby the GX7000 records continuously but at a much lower frame rate. If an impact is detected, the Gx7000 will record a 20 second impact video (10 seconds before and 10 sec after) at normal 30FPS frame rate. This allows the GX7000 to save more footage on the SD card. In either mode, the GX7000 will shut down at a set voltage cut off so the car battery never runs flat.  *Parking mode operation requires installation of the included FineVu hardwire cable into the fusebox
10. ON/OFF Switch – this feature may not seem like a big deal but we think it is. Sometimes the little things can make a big difference. When you hardwire most Dash Cams for parking mode, they will stay on and record when you park. But if you are parked at home or in a secure location and don’t need to record while parked, the only way to shut down others cameras is to pull out the cable. FineVu have included a simple on/off switch on the unit so you can shut the camera down easily while parked. No need to pull out the cable. It also prevents corruption of the SD card if it removed without first shutting down the Dash Cam.
11. ADAS alerts – the GX7000-2CH offers a front vehicle movement alert. When stationary, the GX7000 will alert you once the vehicle infront takes off (should you be looking away). This alert can be switched off if undesirable.
12. Micro SD card partitioning. The Micro SD card can be partitioned by selecting the % of space dedicated for driving files, parking mode files and impact/event files. The GX7000-2CH Dash Cam has 4 different profiles you can choose from depending on whether you want more space allocated for driving or parking.
13. Dedicated Folder System on the Micro SD card. The GX7000 intuitively stores the driving, parking and event video files in their own folder on the Micro SD card. This means you can navigate your required file much easier.
14. Large 128GB Micro SD card capacity which can hold up to 16 hours of total video files per camera before filling up and looping over.
15. One-Touch SOS button – quickly and easily create an important emergency file. When the emergency button is pressed, a 20 second file is separately saved in an emergency folder for easy finding later on.
16. Free FineVu Windows PC Viewer – free PC viewer for Windows and MAC users. The FineVu PC player is companion software that allows you to watch video files on your PC via the sd card and simultaneously view the vehicle location on a google map overlay.
17. Inclusive accessories – FineVU have included both a hardwire cable (for parking mode) and cig lighter cable in the box. FineVu have also included the external GPS antenna which imprints the vehicle speed onto the footage. FineVu GX7000-2ch Dash Cam Installation Options:

1. Cigarette Lighter Adapter (included): Easiest method, no technical expertise required. Just plug the cigarette lighter adapter into your vehicle Cigarette lighter socket. Only powers dash cam while car is on, no parking mode features.
2. FineVu OBD-II Power Cable (optional extra): Simple, DIY, Plug and Play into your vehicle’s OBDii port for constant power to allow for parking mode. Easier than hardwiring. No need for costly professional installation. Not compatible with all vehicles such as Teslas and some EV’s.
3. Hardwiring kit (included): Most permanent solution, offers parking mode features. Most difficult option, requires familiarity with car electrical systems. Expect to pay between $200-$400 for professional installation. 
4. Battery Pack ( optional extra): Simple, DIY, Plug and Play. Good option for those who don’t want to hardwire or have a smaller car battery. The battery charges when the car is on via the cigarette lighter charger and then gives power to the dash cam when the vehicle is off.  Can also be used to charge other devices. External battery can be hidden under passenger seat. 

After you have successfully connected the right power cable, the only thing left to do is mount the dash cam to the windscreen and hide the cables through your vehicles trim and seal strips. You can use the supplied cable clips to help.

Notes:

1. Recommended Micro SD Card = Genuine Samsung EVO Plus or Samsung Pro Endurance (click here for Micro SD card information)

2. The FineVu GX7000-2CH comes with a 3 year warranty on the cameras and a 1 year warranty on all accessories.

3. Do not use any SANDISK branded Micro SD card in a Dash Cam, it will cause functional and physical problems and will void the manufacturer’s warranty

5. If using an external battery pack (Cellink NEO) for parking mode power, the FineVu GX7000 Dash Cam cannot be connected to an external battery pack (via the cigarette lighter cable) for parking mode recording. Only the FineVu hardwire cable can be used to operate parking mode. If connected to an external battery pack with the cig lighter cord, the camera cannot switch into parking mode. The included hardwire cable must always be connected to a Cellink NEO to activate parking mode.
