Description

The Cellink NEO 80+S is a 7,800 mAh (99.84 Wh) lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery pack that runs your Dash Cam in parking mode without touching your car battery. It replaces the Cellink NEO 8+S, with slightly more capacity in a smaller case.

On a full charge, BlackVue Australia rates it at up to 26 hours with a BlackVue Elite 8 1CH and up to 18 hours with an Elite 8 2CH. Run time depends on your camera and settings. Cameras that draw less power run longer, and 4K dual-channel setups run shorter.

The battery charges through either your cig lighter socket or fusebox while your car is running. When your car is turned off, it powers your Dash Cam on its own, so nothing is drawn from your car battery.

Charging via the fusebox is faster (approx. 60 min charge time). If you don’t want to hardwire anything into the fusebox, it can be charged through your cig lighter socket (approx. 100 min charge time).

The NEO 80+S also has a 5V USB port so you can charge other devices (eg. smartphone, tablet), and you can check the battery charge level and estimated run time in the free Cellink NEO Bluetooth app. Need more run time? Add a Cellink NEO Expansion Pack.

If you can’t or don’t want to install a Dash Cam hardwire kit to your car’s fuse box, the Cellink NEO 80+S is the plug and play solution for powering your Dash Cam during Parking Surveillance Mode recording.

*Not compatible in 24V systems (trucks, commercial vehicles)

Cellink NEO 80+S port panel: EXT battery, LOW OFF HIGH switch, USB, dash cam output and vehicle input

Notes:

1. If charging the Cellink NEO 80+S through your vehicle cigarette lighter socket, the input power switch should be on LOW (5A). The battery selects LOW automatically when the Cellink cigarette lighter cable is connected.

Once the Cellink NEO 80+S is connected to the cigarette lighter socket and operating, never turn the switch to HIGH during operation. This may cause functional failures, overheating, or damage to the cables and ignition due to overcurrent.

2. If hardwiring the Cellink NEO 80+S into a fusebox, set the power switch to HIGH (7.5A), or LOW if the circuit has a limited current supply.

3. Not compatible in 24V systems (trucks, commercial vehicles)

4. If connecting the Cellink NEO 80+S to a Lukas, BlackSys, FineVu or BlackVue X series Dash Cam, the Dash Cam hardwire cable must be connected to the 3-wire output cable of the NEO. This allows park mode to activate and deactivate correctly.
