The BlackVue DR770X-2CH [RIDESHARE] Dash Cam is the most effective solution for monitoring/recording in-cabin behaviour. The main front facing camera records in FULL HD 1080P at 60FPS. The separate 1080P FULL HD in-cabin camera is mounted on the front windscreen facing inside the cabin and utilises infrared lights to enhance dim/dark cabin footage. The in-cabin facing camera also has an ultra wide angle of view at 180° for maximum coverage inside the cabin.

Each Dash Cam will require an internet source within the vehicle which can be done via an existing hotspot or the BlackVue CM100 modem. The CM100LTE is an external 4G LTE module that plugs directly into the Dash Cam allowing the BlackVue cloud feature to be used. All that is required is a nano sim card (BYO) and once the camera has power, so does the CM100LTE module, making the need for an external Wi-Fi hotspot redundant. If the BlackVue cloud connectivity is not required, there is no requirement for this module. All other recording features and functions of the DR770X-2CH [RIDESHARE] are operational without this module.

BlackVue DR770X-2CH Rideshare Dash Cam Installation Options:

1. Cigarette Lighter Adapter (included): Easiest method, no technical expertise required. Just plug the cigarette lighter adapter into your vehicle Cigarette lighter socket. Only powers dash cam while car is on, no parking mode features.
2. Blackvue USB-C Power Cable (optional extra): Many new cars have replaced the cigarette lighter socket with a USB-C connection. This makes for a smaller, sleeker connection. This method is basically the same as the cigarette lighter adapter method.
3. Blackvue OBD-II Power Cable (optional extra): Simple, DIY, Plug and Play into your vehicle’s OBDii port for constant power to allow for parking mode. Easier than hardwiring. No need for costly professional installation. Not compatible with all vehicles such as Teslas and some EV’s.
4. Hardwiring kit (included): Most permanent solution, offers parking mode features. Most difficult option, requires familiarity with car electrical systems. Expect to pay between $200-$400 for professional installation. 
5. Battery Pack ( optional extra): Simple, DIY, Plug and Play. Good option for those who don’t want to hardwire or have a smaller car battery. The battery charges when the car is on via the cigarette lighter charger and then gives power to the dash cam when the vehicle is off.  Can also be used to charge other devices. External battery can be hidden under passenger seat. 

After you have successfully connected the right power cable, the only thing left to do is mount the dash cam to the windscreen and hide the cables through your vehicles trim and seal strips. You can use the supplied cable clips to help.

1. Third party Micro SD cards are not recommended for use in Blackvue Dash Cams due to performance issues. BlackVue only recommends use of BlackVue genuine Micro SD cards. Non-genuine Micro SD cards can adversely affect a BlackVue Dash Cams performance.
